Closing down high streets for filming.

This is one of the trickiest things to do for filming - we at Scout Productions often receive scripts that require closing down high streets for filming purposes.  It is a very tough brief and thankfully with our large team of Location Managers we all have our pennies worth of information of where is best to do it.  It is often easiest to do it away from large cities and always needs  lead in time to consult local businesses and residents.  We are currently filming on a high street in South West England for a commercial where the local area has expressed interest and the Location Manager is working closely with the council, highways and locals.  We at Scout Productions have vast experience of filming on these kind of locations so please do get in touch if you require any advise as we are always happy to help.  Our office of experienced scouts are on hand for budgeting or consultation from an early stage in the production.  We also now have a dedicated Supervising Location Manager to field any enquiry that comes into Scout Productions.
