CARBON AWARE PRODUCTIONS Plant a Temperate Rainforest

Very proud to say, with your help Carbon Aware Productions x Scout Productions have planted 136 Trees on a reliably wet hill in Simonsbath, Exmoor National Park, extending a small pocket of temperate rainforest that is established there. 
 
Temperate Rainforest is woodland that is exposed to extremely high rainfall and has a relatively mild, year round climate. This provides the perfect conditions for a range of rare ancient ferns, lichens and mosses, all with compelling names like String of Sausages lichen, Lungwort and Old Man’s Beard. The UK has small refuges of temperate rainforest running up its weather beaten west coast. Your trees are part of a project to steadily increase these refuges and make sure the UK’s rainforests don’t just survive, but thrive.
