This page explains what Scout Productions Ltd collects when you use scoutproductions.co.uk, why, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email info@scoutproductions.co.uk or call 020 7096 0605.
Enquiries and forms. When you enquire about a location, book a scout, list a location, share a location or contact us, we keep what you send (your name, email address, company, the details of your project and the locations you asked about) so that we can reply and manage the booking. Enquiries are emailed to our team and stored in our booking system.
Accounts. If you create an account we store your name, email address, company and the jobs and locations you save, so that you can come back to them.
Newsletter. If you subscribe we pass your email address to Mailchimp, which sends the newsletter on our behalf. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
How the site is used. We use PostHog, an analytics service hosted in the European Union, to see which pages, searches and locations visitors use and where the site loses people. Until you accept cookies, PostHog stores nothing in your browser and counts each visit with a code that changes every day, so it cannot recognise you when you come back. We do not store your IP address. If you accept cookies, PostHog sets a cookie so that return visits join up, and may record how the page is used; typed text and form contents are masked in those recordings. We also use Google Analytics, which loads only after you accept cookies.
Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to tell people from automated submissions. Google's own privacy policy applies to it.

You can change your choice at any time: change your cookie settings.
Our team, the location owners we approach on your behalf (they see your project details, not your contact details unless you ask us to pass them on), and the services that run the site for us: Microsoft Azure (hosting, United Kingdom), PostHog (analytics, European Union), Google (analytics and reCAPTCHA), Mailchimp (newsletter) and Dropbox (files sent with a location listing). We do not sell your information.
Enquiries and bookings are kept for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal and accounting duties. Account details are kept until you ask us to close your account. Analytics data is kept by PostHog for up to a year and by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email info@scoutproductions.co.uk. If you are not satisfied with our answer you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
